BKV is looking for a Junior SEO Specialist who will provide reliable, polished work, manage projects, details and tasks, as well as offer new ideas.  We want someone who can hold down the fort, keeping the work on target, and still have ambition to improve, keep abreast of SEO advancements and attend industry events. The SEO Specialist is a mid-level position with some experience in most areas of SEO.


SEO Clients vary from B2B and B2C to nonprofit, including Delta Community Credit Union, Wounded Warrior Project, SecureWorks, Invisible Fence and others.



- Execute SEO initiatives, projects and reporting
Learn client business, objectives, brand voice, metrics, and market

- Create client and competitor analyses
- Write SEO copy, tags, occasional blog posts
- Create client friendly deliverable documents and presentations
- Monitor, track, evaluate and report performance
- Work under direction of and collaborate with SEO Director
- Coordinate with account service teams for implementation of SEO recommendations, reporting, planning
- Work with social, paid search, TV, radio and other media teams for omni channel initiatives


- 1 year of SEO Experience
- On-page optimization
- Keyword research
- Local SEO
- Some link building
- Some press release writing
- Google Analytics
- Google Webmaster Tools
- Use of keyword ranking and SEO tools
- SEO reporting
Soft skills required:
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Organized and able to keep up with multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines
- Written and oral communication skills
- Eager to stay abreast of SEO industry advancements and changes
- A knack for marketing, user experience and analytics
- Familiar with HTML and web design
- Familiar with social media
- Fluent in Excel formulas, tables, formatting, filtering, charts and graphs
- Knowledge of PowerPoint
- Knowledge of paid search a plus
- SEO, interactive or advertising agency experience a plus
