The Ad Operations Specialist provides support and ensures timely and accurate completion
of digital advertising campaign deliverables. This position plays a central role with various key stakeholders (client, media team, account service team and data services team) in media campaign
execution, quality assurance and results reporting ensuring all stakeholders’ needs are met and brings revenue to BKV.



- Support various members of the Ad Operations and Business Intelligence Team in
campaign executions.
- Own and support all pre and post launch trafficking responsibilities and inquiries.
- Manage implementation of all ad operations requirements (tracking, tagging, publisher/agency correspondence, media plan management, etc) in a timely manner.
- Work closely with client/publishers/media team/account service team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Educate and guide clients/media team/account service team on best practices, proactively address areas where improvement is needed.
- Perform diligent and detail-oriented QA on interactive ad units/deliverables.
- Ensure all creative units, placements, click-through URLs, click commands are correct
and correspond to the traffic sheet prior to campaign launch.
- Perform data analysis to report on client insights and resolve discrepancies.
- Cross-check that all data (contracted impressions, flight dates, costs, etc.) have been
input into the third party system correctly based on buy summary, insertion orders and
creative rotation.
- Attend and participate in presentations from vendors and/or conferences offering media
solutions that may be relevant to the Ad Operations team.
- Actively contribute to the development and prioritization of new product features and functionalities for an ever-evolving product line to client/media team/account service team.


- Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study.
- 1+ years’ experience in ad operations/digital online trafficking environment required.
- QA experience troubleshooting all ad types including display (desktop, mobile, in-app) and video (VAST/VPAID).
- Previous experience with 3rd party ad servers (DoubleClick, Sizmek, Atlas, MediaPlex, etc.)
- Previous experience with web traffic analysis tools (Chrome developer tools, Charles, Fiddler, Firebug, Ghostery, etc.)
- Understanding of the principles of ad serving, analytics, DSPs/DMPs, media buying, pixel implementation, cross-channel, mobile and video.
- Effective time management skills.
- Intermediate expertise in MS office suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
